With over 20 years of experience in the audit and financial management sectors, Charbel Bechaalany is a seasoned professional specializing in audit strategy, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as a Senior Auditor at the Lebanese Ministry of Finance’s Large Taxpayers Department (LTO) since 2004, Charbel leads audit teams, develops and implements comprehensive audit strategies, and ensures the accuracy and quality of financial data reported by large taxpayers. His role involves conducting risk assessments, identifying key areas for audit focus, and delivering detailed reports to support organizational decision-making. Charbel is also committed to fraud detection, compliance, and improving audit outcomes through the implementation of advanced auditing techniques, continuous training, and collaboration with key stakeholders. Charbel holds a Master’s degree in Audit and Accounting (MBA) from Lebanese University, he also has diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) from ACCA, in addition he is Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
