Dr. Nicols Zougheib is a seasoned academic and financial expert with a Ph.D. in Mathematical Modeling in Economics from the Belarusian State Economic University (2023) and an MBA from AUST, Lebanon. He serves as the Chairperson of the Mathematics Department at AUST, where he has taught mathematics and finance since 2005. With over 25 years of teaching experience, including roles as Academic Director and high school coordinator, he is deeply committed to advancing education.

Dr. Zougheib is also a CFA charterholder and an experienced trainer for CFA and CMA candidates. His expertise spans financial consulting, investment analysis, and feasibility studies, with practical experience developing financial models using Python. He actively contributes to the CFA Society Lebanon, supporting local research initiatives.

His academic contributions include multiple international publications on efficiency measurement and data envelopment analysis. He is also recognized for his leadership in educational outreach, including organizing the 2024 Math Olympiad. Dr. Zougheib’s blend of academic excellence, practical financial insight, and commitment to education make him a distinguished figure in both academia and the finance industry.
